This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled by the mobile application (the 'App') provided by GLaDOS VPN (the 'Service', 'we', or 'us'). We collect only the information needed to operate and improve the VPN service and protect your privacy within this policy.

When you download and launch the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, and session duration. To recommend suitable routes, we may process approximate location information. This data is used to: 1. suggest connection options based on GLaDOS VPN's node distribution; 2. improve stability and performance through anonymized aggregate analysis; 3. send necessary service, security, or account notices to your registered email or username.

We only transmit anonymized or aggregated data to necessary third-party service providers, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. We do not share personal information except when: 1. required by law or valid legal process; 2. necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, or respond to security incidents; 3. working with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. You can stop new App-generated data collection by uninstalling the App through your device system.

User-provided data is retained during the active service period and for a reasonable period afterward where needed. To cancel your account or request deletion of personal information, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that such information was collected by mistake, we will take steps to delete it. Guardians may contact us through the same email address.

This Privacy Policy may be updated due to regulatory, product, or operational changes. Please review this page regularly. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
